As a child growing up with significant physical challenges, I know what is like to hurt, to not fit in, or to be different. I was not accepted at school but was fortunate to have a family at home that loved and supported me. Throughout my high school years, I was drawn to other young people that were isolated and hurting as I helped them through some very difficult personal challenges. I did not realize how God’s heart for me was the same heart He had given me for others.

I had intended to pursue a career in Social Work, however, in the summer of 2001 at a camp ministry, I rededicated my life to Christ. I attended two years of Bible College, and recognized how God provides real solutions to broken and hurting lives. My heart for helping others was redirected into youth ministry, where I volunteered in various capacities and God used me to help and mentor young people.

I believe God has called me into full-time ministry in Youth Unlimited to love and care for the youth of Argenteuil and to mentor them into a deeper relationship and understanding of how much Jesus cares for them. I am passionate about seeing the youth cared for, saved and discipled. My goal is to build relationships, connect with them on a more personal basis, introduce them to Christ, and be an encouragement along the way. I want to help our teens and pre-teens grow in their relationships with God, supporting them as they grow into mature Christian men and women. I see the different programs we run as a bridge to build relationships and bring our kids closer to Jesus.
