University Life 's theme is college , very similar to that in The Sims 2: University , thus giving the Sims a "college experience" while at university. It has brought many returning features from The Sims 2' s expansion packs, as well as introduced new features for The Sims 3 . The pack and its world are Seasons -compatible.

Sims University is a new sub-neighborhood (similar to the sub-neighborhoods in World Adventures ) and its university buildings are New England -inspired with some European influences. Its animal mascot is a llama .

An NPC mascot will arrive at your Sims' lot with a University kit that includes a banner, a T-shirt, and an aptitude test. Your Sim can keep this kit in the personal inventory or put it anywhere in the house. The results of the aptitude test (which can be taken as many times as desired) will depend on their skills, traits, work experience and school grades, [5]  influencing how much financial assistance they can get. The results also show the total aptitude score, along with the sub-scores for the majors and credit award.

My Focus Studio TDCi suffered turbo failure last February. I took it to my garage and they quoted me £1300 to replace and flush out the engine etc. At that time I wasn't aware of the problems surrounding turbos on these models. Apparently the engine is manufactured by Peuoget and is used across a number of different manufacturers cars including the Stuido TDCi.

I have written a post about these before! its most unlikley that the turbo failed as in failed ! its caused by a diesel injector seal leaking in the cylinder head. The combustion gases leak past the seal and clog up the oil feed galleries to the turbo, casuing failure.

When a turbo is fitted, its imperative that not only is the sump removed and cleaned but the rocker cover is removed and close inspection of the injector seals is carried out or even replaced ! no 3 usually seems to be the culprit!

’74 Ford Pinto Station Wagon  – Hand me down from one of my two older brothers, with over 60k on the clock. When it was later revealed that Pintos exploded upon rear impact, my immediate thought was “And…?” Anyone who drove one knew the car was a POS. Slow, gnarly to shift, horrible handling, non-functional HVAC, etc. My father, A Ford man at the time, bought the car for the same reason everyone else did: they were cheap.

Ford Pinto Station Wagon  – Yup, same again. When “mine” died from heat exhaustion, Dad simply did the hand me down thing again. No. 1 son got a VW Golf, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. A lifelong insanity was revealed as I shod the Pinto with Pirelli P3s in an attempt to get it to handle. Oh, and put a Nagamichi cassette player in the glove box. Peter Frampton lives!

Mercedes 230E  – Dad bought a 300 SEL 6.3 on European delivery and went mad for the brand (a madness that evaporated with breakdowns and bills). The 230 was another hand me down, this time from Mom. Solid. I mean stolid. Anything was better than the Pinto. Much better. Again with the tires. Killed the car when I was showing-off the Merc’s cornering prowess to friends- understeered straight into a curb, snapped the front axle like a toothpick.
